Hajj is the Fifth Pillar of Islam and is mandated upon every adult Muslim that has the financial capacity and is in a state of sanity and well being to observe it at least once in their lifetime.
At Marquis Concierge, we identified a glaring knowledge gap on pilgrimage education, leading to misconceptions in performing Hajj and Umrah.
Consequently, we have resolved to organize annual Hajj workshops to better prepare intending pilgrims on the task of Hajj in both knowledge and expectations. We have designed the workshop in modules built around the central theme: LEARN THE PATHS BEFORE YOU DO THE RITES.
Even before this workshop, Marquis Concierge has always shown commitment in educating her clients (Intending pilgrims) through a one day Hajj induction program, simulating all the acts and rituals of Hajj to acquaint them with the processes before make the journey.
This is the maiden version of the workshop, and is designed to educate intending pilgrims and the general public on the importance of Hajj as an Ibadah that purifies a Muslim and rids them of all their sins when performed properly.
Why the workshop?
The main objective of the Workshop is to change the mindset of Muslims, so as to prepare them for a successful spiritual journey that can only be achieved with taqwa, ihsan, ikhlas and sabr.
Who can attend the workshop?
Intending pilgrims as well as the general public. Anyone can attend, whether they plan on going to Hajj this year or not.
Where and when is this program happening?
The workshop will open on March 8, 2020 by 9am prompt, at Marquis Concierge, Harrow Park Golf Course, Wuse 2, Abuja. Refer to the map guide at the bottom of the page.
